VCI Anti-corrosives
VOLATILE CORROSION INHIBITORS VCIs are an anti-corrosive protective system for metal products, which is based on adding a chemical to a support (either paper, polyethylene film, cellulose bars or oil). The chemicals impregnated into the support are released inside the packaging, creating a protective atmosphere which stops the oxidation process by passivating the surface of the metal.
